...after reviewing Internet posts, it's a lovely tribute to...the fear of making a regrettable decision. At the end of the poem the main character's still deciding which road to take.

The poem means many things

One of them: when people choose something that can´t be undone, it makes sense to take their time to decide...more than being about whether the 1st or 2nd road were chosen....it's about being unable to go back and change the selection made
